2023 Tops International Arena Season Calendar Revealed

The countdown is officially on to the start of the Tops International Arena show jumping season with the full calendar and ticket sales released today.
With an impressive six-event line-up coming to the Tops International Arena over the summer months, all is revealed today. Spectators will be able to enjoy live music, a full entertainment schedule on the Place du Concorde, shopping and a wide range of food and beverage stands.
The 2023 Tops International Arena Calendar sees a kick off on July 7th, before the highlight event of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Valkenswaard from 18-20 August and culminating in a brand new event to Tops International Arena the WBFSH Studbooks Jumping Global Champions Trophy.
With world-class facilities playing host to the best young riders, horses, 1*, 2* and 5* riders across the country and world, show jumping and sporting fans alike are set to be treated to the thrilling sporting action and world-class hospitality.
For the first time, Tops International Arena will host the WBFSH Studbooks Jumping Global Champions Trophy. Jan Pedersen president of the WBFSH commented: "The WBFSH is very excited about this new initiative, in collaboration with Tops International and Tops Equestrian Events. It is a unique opportunity for our WBFSH studbooks to showcase themselves and their horses in a veritable studbook team competition that is one of a kind. Working with a partner that is such a prominent stakeholder in the industry elevates this event to a truly exclusive level. We look forward to the inaugural event at the end of September and encourage all our members not to miss the opportunity to participate."
The World Breeding Federation for Sporthorses and Global Champions have joined forces to run a studbook Trophy in Valkenswaard later this year. The new studbook competition for the Global Champions Trophy is one not to miss as it highlights the dedicated breeders in the sport and the team competition supports the whole studbook with this new and unique concept.
The event will provide breeders with a perfect platform to showcase breeding associations and brands along with substantiating the success of breeding programs. The aim is to promote breeders' best horses through being part of an event where team spirit is encouraged and opens the door to endless opportunities to build future relationships coupled with generous prize money on offer.
For the inaugural 2023 edition, a team will comprise of five horses per age category with two qualifying rounds, and the Final hosted in the main grass arena between the best 15 teams per category.

He went on to add: “This year we will see two 5* competitions taking place at Tops International Arena, plus the return of the popular Longines Global Future Champions where the future stars of tomorrow jump in the same arena as the top horse and riders in the world. We look forward to welcoming our local and wider community to experience all that is our great sport and entertainment with us at TIA.”
Preparations are in full swing with the opening leg of the TIA Summer Festival 2023 will take place in just over a few month's time with tickets now on sale for all six events. The succession of events for 2023 sees one of the biggest events of the year at Tops International Arena season - the 12th leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL team series.
Returning to its spiritual home in Valkenswaard from 18 - 20 August at a crucial stage in the championship race, the LGCT of Valkenswaard is set to again attract spectators and athletes from around the world for a full weekend of sporting action, entertainment, music, shopping, and wide range of food and drinks for all the family to enjoy.
