Keep It Cool SSS lives up to his name in Blom Cup final

Release date: 31/08/2022

Last year he was already close and this year he did it. Under Michael Greeve the Zirocco Blue VDL son Keep It Cool SSS won the Blom Cup for seven year olds.
The 1.45m test for seven year olds at Tops International Arena was a serious warm-up for the World Championships in Lanaken. Or at least, for the best nine, because they earned a ticket with this performance.

Family breeding products on the podium
Only three combinations managed to finish clear. Both the technical lines and the sharp time played a role. Three combinations crossed the finish line with one time penalty and are therefore definitely qualified for the World Championships. In the jump-off the battle was between winner Keep It Cool SSS (Zirocco Blue VDL by Wyoming-S elite EPTM-spr sport-spr PROK by Corland, breeder Eddy Schoonhoven from Schoonrewoerd) from Gert-Jan van de Pol from Nieuw-Heeten, Bas Moerings with the family breeding product Kivinia (I'm Special de Muze out of Favinia ster sport-spr PROK by Calido I) and the third placed Kapitaal L (Cornet Obolensky out of Phenomenal by Comme d'Api vd Hacienda Z, f/g Johan Laseur) under Megan Laseur who already could look back at successful KWPN Championships. Breeder Eddy Schoonhoven was present in Valkenswaard to see his breeding product Keep It Cool SSS win and receive the breeders premium. "Great! I sold him as a foal at Foal Auction Dronten and have always followed him, they did very well in Knokke recently. With his - meanwhile deceased - dam we did not have much luck in breeding, but she did produce some good offspring, and Keep It Cool SSS really tops the list now.
