Release date: 31/08/2022
On the impressive grass track the six year olds showed great sport in the final. Alex Gill with VDL Lightfeet, bred by Geert van der Meer, had the fastest clear round.Nine combinations competed in the jump-off again in a challenging course of Louis Konickx. The best twelve earned an invitation for the World Championships in Lanaken, with exception of the foreign registered and KWPN approved stallion Lambada Shake AG (Aganix du Seigneur by Grappa AG of Spartacus, breeder Alex Gisbertz) who jumped three rounds convincingly clear with Pieter Keunen and finished 5th in the final ranking.
Topsport
The best result was achieved by Alex Gill with Arezzo VDL son VDL Lightfeet (by Horsinaa keur sport-spr from Indoctro), bred by Geert van der Meer and ridden by VDL Stud and trained by Nella Bijlsma. "It's great if everything goes according to plan! That doesn't always work out so this is really enjoying it. VDL Lightfeet has a lot of quality and the fact that I can do this with him already is certainly due to the good training of Nella", the stable rider of VDL Stud reacted enthusiastically. Another high quality horse finished second, the very powerful Quickly de Kreisker-daughter Liverma (by Verma W, sired by Kojak). Johan Klein Zieverink rides this horse for her breeder, Jos van Deurzen of Stal Keizersberg. As second starter in the jump-off they were able to put the pressure on the competition with a fast clear round and were only defeated by VDL Lightfeet/Alex Gill. The third result in this final was in the name of the well in the ways jumping, extra bascule Etoulon VDL son Legend D (by Eurostar PROK of Eurocommerce Dubai, breeder H.J.M. van Dartel from Wijhe), who with Lennard de Boer also stayed double clear in this serious 1.35m test.
