Hands-Off triumphs in 1.40m for KWPN mares
Release date: 11/08/2021
At 1.40m level, fifteen 8- to 10-year-old mares competed with each other. The Numero Uno daughter Hands-Off was the winner under Dries van der Linden.Today, the side grounds of the Tops International Arena were completely dominated by the eight to ten-year-old mares, who competed in the Blom competition at 1.30m, 1.35m and 1.40m level. In the highest class, no fewer than ten combinations managed to stay clear in this test, which was held on time. Dries van der Linden jumped with the Numero Uno daughter Hands-Off sport-spr D-OC (out of the Grand Prix mare Odile keur sport-spr perst by Indoctro) of breeder J.A. Skipper from Rijsbergen to the fastest clear result and thus secured the victory. This interesting mare is, among other things, a full sister of the Grand Prix show jumper Take Off. Steven Veldhuis also made a good attempt with the Emerald van 't Ruytershof daughter Installera Balia RS elite EPTM-spr sport-spr PROK (out of Wya Balia RS stb perst PROK by Germus R) from breeder Redmill Stables and was rewarded with the second prize, just ahead of Tom Schellekens with the Isabel ster sport-jump bred by H. van de Boomen from Valkenswaard (Captain Cooper out of Amalia elite IBOP-jump PROK by Nonstop). This enabled this good jumping eight- and nine-year-old mares to offer a nice shop window in Valkenswaard.
