Speed was important during the second day of the CSI2*/CSIYH1* at Tops International Arena in Valkenswaard.

Young Horses: Lynch does it again
Ireland’s top rider Denis Lynch was again unbeatable today with his KWPN stallion Inventa d’Or (Bella Baloubet x Heartbreaker) in the 1.30/1.35m young horses class against the clock. “Ineventa d’Or is a new addition to our team and it is great to have him and to have the support of the owner. It was super how he jumped the last two days and I hope he will do well again tomorrow.”
Germany’s Zoe Osterhoff was runner-up with the KWPN mare It’s A Miracle (Dakar x Heartbreaker). Britain’s Joe Clee finished in third place with the mare Ballinalard.

Small Tour
Yesterday Danny van den Bosch finished in third place behind his daughter Ines, but today he was the fastest in the 1.25m class against the clock. The 56-year-old Belgian rider stopped the clock at 59.30 seconds with his NRPS gelding Zilvano (Zilverstar T  Vito vd Paardenwinning).
Runners-up were Holland’s Jersey Kuijpers and Quanta Questa. Yesterday’s winner, France’s Jauris Tamsson had to settle for third today with Bobine du Plessis.
Italy’s Lorenzo de Luca won the 1.35m Small Tour class with the BWP mare Jeunesse van ‘t Paradijs (Emerald x Heartbreaker). The 33-year-old rider, who is based in Wolvertem, Belgium, was over 2 seconds faster than runner-up Jullian Terceira (BER) and Iluna di Cantero. Third place went to Belgium’s Ines van den Bosch with Go Go.

Medium Tour
Brazil’s Andre Americo de Miranda was victorious in the Medium Tour (1.40m with jump-off) with the KWPN mare Gemke. The 50-year-old rider had two clear rounds with a time of 38.45 seconds in the jump-off. Ireland’s Michael G Duffy finished runner-up with My Way B.&V. in 38.62 seconds. Third place was also for Brazil: Yuri Mansur Guerios with Midnight Blue ASK.

Big Tour
Victory in the Big Tour, a Table A against the clock with fences up to 1.45m, went to Egypt’s Abdel Said. Said, who lives in Zandhoven, Belgium, stopped the clock at 73.93 with the Selle Français mare Arpege du Ru (Apache d’Adriers x Quat’sous). Jason Foley kept Irish honour high by finishing runner-up with Castlefield Cass. Third place went to yesterday’s victor, Holland’s Doron Kuipers and Gallardo CSI. 4
