Girl power: impressive Pipa Goddard
Release date: 15/05/2019
Britain’s Pippa Goddard had a perfect day in Valkenswaard. She won both the finals of the six and five-year-olds with Nero van de Kwade Heyde (BWP, Echo van ’t Spieveld x Lux Z) and Calisey TW (OLD, Conthargos x Carthago) respectively. Both horses, as well as the numbers two and three of the five-year-old final, are owned by British Tom Williams.Calisey TW came to Pippa six weeks ago, after the mare had competed in the Sunshine Tour in Spain. Pippa gave her a break and that obviously worked out well. Pippa finished also runner-up in the five-year-old final with Con Man TW, who she has only ridden for the first time last Saturday. Britain’s Emily Sage finished runner-up in the final for six-year-olds with the KWPN stallion I Am A Harley (Harley VDL x Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve). Third place went to Holland’s Kim Emmen and Indian Gold (KWPN, Cassini Gold x Germus R). Emily Sage took third place in the five-year-old final with Centino Blue TW (by Centadel).
