Janika took up riding at age four and she got her national licence at age 12 as she comes from a family of riders. As well as her father being an international show jumper, he is owner of Reitsportzentrum Galms in Lausen, Switzerland.
Janika has competed in five European Championships, finishing with Team Gold in Young Rider 2006 and 2008 events. Her ambition is to compete at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
