Codex One 22 years old

It’s hard to imagine that as a two-year-old, no-one was interested in buying Codex One and even his stallion license was not a certainty. Since then this compact little horse has represented Germany in the 2012 Olympic Games and won a 2013 European Team Silver medal. Christian Ahlmann took over the ride on Codex One from fellow German Karl Brocks in 2011. Ahlmann describes Codex One as a relatively easy horse to ride and manage – he feels like he could jump anything, jumps on any surface and isn’t fazed by anything. 

Codex One is owned by Ahlmann’s long-term supporter Marion Jauß.
