Bumper Season at Tops International Arena

With a fantastic season underway, the next event at Tops International Arena will be the top-level Longines Global Champions Tour & GCL including CSI2*, CSI1* and CSIYH1* classes.

With the fourth leg of LGCT and GCL event moving from Cannes to Valkenswaard it will now be held at Tops International Arena from 4 - 6 June and include multiple Longines Ranking classes. Therefore the CSI4*, CSI2*, CSI1*, and CSIYH1* show that was planned for 11 - 13 June has been cancelled.

After winning the feature class of the day on Friday at TIA Eduardo Menezes commented: "The soil here is excellent. It's great to ride on grass again. When I was growing up this arena was like a myth to me. I wanted to ride here. I totally understood when the grass was replaced by sand, but now it's back to how it should be."

It is set to be an incredible summer at Tops International Arena with the highest number of events scheduled since the top quality permanent facilities were launched, which is hugely appreciated by riders of all ages and level following last weeks show.

After an extremely successful first event of the season riders will be looking forward to jumping on the exceptional sweeping 125m x 85m innovative grass arena at the next event from 4 - 6 June. There will be a wide range of classes to suit all horses & riders and the competition will allow numerous international and young riders coming to Valkenswaard to compete on both sand and grass arenas with the highest quality footing. With well-spaced stables, expansive training arenas and world class facilities for the horses and riders it is guaranteed to be a weekend of exciting top-level sport.

Fans can anticipate a thrilling battle of the best in show jumping at the fourth leg of the LGCT & GCL  which will be broadcast on the brand new GCTV streaming service with live coverage, backstage insights, special analysis and multi-language commentary. It is easy to switch between watching live coverage from the sand arena or grass arena allowing equestrian enthusiasts to enjoy all the classes.
