- Frank Schuttert
- Competing for: Netherlands
- Age: 31
Frank’s parents always had horses and then, has been surrounded by the animal since he’s youngest age. However, Frank didn’t like horses at first and preferred playing football instead – which he still does. At 6 years old, he started to enjoy it and chose show jumping as it was more active than the rest.
After a first diploma in 2010, Frank decided to stop studying in 2013 to work with Jos Lansink in Meewen in Belgium, even if his parents have their own equestrian facilities in Stegeren. The same year, Frank won the Young Riders European Championships and competed in 4 Nations Cup. He also won the Grand Prix of Amsterdam that made him become the “Talent of the Year”.
He won his first LGCT Grand Prix in Valkenswaard in 2018 in front of his home crowd that selected him for the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix of Prague where he got the bronze medal after the winning lady Edwina Tops-Alexander and the living legend Ludger Beerbaum.
