  • Pénélope Leprevost
  • Competing for: France
  • From: Rouen
  • Age: 44

Pénélope began riding at the age of three years. She participated in her first Championships in France Lamotte Beuvron at six then continued to compete in amateur events.

At 18, Pénélope chose to work with horses rather than take up a place at architecture school and set up a yard with fellow rider Guillaume Blin-Lebreton. A year later, Pénélope was offered a job by stable owner Jean-Pierre Vilault and in 2000 she turned professional.

Until she was 25, Pénélope only competed up to 1.35m but a string of lovely horses took her higher. In 2005 , she took 3rd place in the Championship of France with Jalisca Solier then the following year she won the same event with Karatina and began to become a regular on Nation's Cup teams.

In 2012 she represented France at the London Olympics. She has been training with French legend Michel Robert for many years and he is her hero. Pénélope's ambition is to win an Olympic medal and her motto is to always take pleasure in her sport.
